Another example of our numerous customised shielding boxes is the model MSB-0081-FLABS-FAN-USB-C with 19 inch x 11 HU, which has been developed for the rack mounting. The compact portable EMC shielded chamber is opened from the front side by the easy one-hand mechanism and offers plenty of space for specimens of all kinds.
This rack is designed for the frequency range from 500 MHz to 6000 MHz and shields electromagnetic disturbances from the environment. In addition to the new USB 3.2 type C filtered interface and many different standard interfaces, the 19″ shielding box also has a “shelf”.

The feedthrough Filter Module USB 3.2 with integrated ESD protection and EMI filter is designed to be built in at MTS Shielding Boxes series MSB. It supports Super Speed (Plus, up to 20 Gbit/s), High Speed (up to 480 Mbit/s), Gigabit-Ethernet, 4K-HDMI and is suitable for testing mobiles, tablets or similar devices with high data rates under shielded conditions.

The MX-8/8-FFO-6G is an RF-Matrix made of dividers and semiconductor switches. The principle is full fan out. It can be used for several applications, f.e.:
– Test automation in the mobile communication area
– Remote switching of measuring instruments and test equipment
– Permanently change of components such as amplifiers, filters, attenuators, etc. without having to rewire
At the MX-8/8-FFO-6G all of the outputs can be connected to maximum one input simultaneously. This can be the same input for all outputs. The configuration is 8 inputs and 8 outputs. In combination with attenuators, splitters and other modules the usability can be extended.
The standard coupling unit SCF-0350-4G is available in the frequency range from 400 MHz upto 4000 MHz. It emulates the air interface between GSM/DCS/DCN/UMTS/LTE or DECT mobile devices and the belonging base stations. According to this the handover can be tested between the base stations in the laboratory. MTS Systemtechnik GmbH has developed a compact EMC screened rack mount chassis, to fulfil multipurpose requirements. The stable construction of the Shielding Box Unit series MSBU is predestined for industrial long term tests. To offer a maximum of flexibility and usability the Shielding Box Unit is built with three independent shielding cabinets, each with RF- and communication interfaces.
Therefore it is possible to use the unit for different tests or by different users at the same time.
The operation of the test samples can be done by using the included communication interfaces independently for each chamber.

The Coaxial Relay RU2-56G41-C-S1 consists of two SPDT relays in series. This enables the possibility to open the relay in order to switch off the RF signal. It was especially designed to work between DC and 6000 MHz.

With our shielding box MSB-0604 specimens can be tested without electromagnetic disturbances from the environment in temperature-/climatic chambers.
A built-in 230 V fan, shielded with a honeycomb vent, transports the temperature of the chamber reliably in the EMC box. For better air circulation, this EMC box is provided with two further shielded vent panels (honeycomb vents).

With the AIAD-8+-6G-190dB Air Interface Adapter, tests can be performed in the range from 500 MHz to 6000 MHz. Ring system with 8 coupled inputs and outputs by 190 dB attenuators and 2 source connections per port (2x 8 ports). The core of the AIAD-8+ consists of a fully meshed network. This allows connections from RF ports to all other RF ports via separate signal paths. Programmable attenuators in each path emulate the signal attenuation to any neighboring cells.

The PAH-6G/95-TTL programmable attenuator was developed for use in the frequency range between 50 MHz and 6000 MHz and can therefore be used for all common mobile radio frequencies such as GSM, DECT, UMTS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and all LTE frequency bands up to 6 GHz. It can be used in satellite communication as well as in broadcasting from FM.

In the series DGL we offer fixed attenuators combined with all saleable coaxial connectors (male or female). These coaxial attenuators are designed to meet specifications within a frequency range from DC to 1000 MHz and are available with standard attenuation values of 1 dB, 3 dB, 6 dB, 10 dB, 20 dB or 30 dB.
